New Crime Series for Annan Author Nick Guthrie
Annan-based Nick Guthrie’s new crime fiction series is launched in November with the publication of his novel, The Custodian by No Exit Press. This caps a highly successful year for the author, in which his short stories have been published in two of the world’s leading mystery magazines, Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine and Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, with other stories appearing in various magazines and anthologies, including the prestigious Crime Writers’ Association anthology, Guilty Secrets.
The Custodian is a police procedural mystery, full of twists and turns, following DI Bolam as he attempts to unravel the dark history of the town where his late wife grew up, even if it means tearing apart what remains of his own family:

Book Launch
Annan-based Nick Guthrie’s new novel The Custodian will be officially launched at the Dumfries branch of Waterstones in a special event at 6pm on Thursday 12th November. Nick will be interviewed about his long and varied career as an author, followed by Q&A from the audience, and then a more informal opportunity for attendees to meet and chat with the author. Books will be available for sale and signing, and refreshments will be provided.
